"O, the joy" - Captain Meriwhether Lewis I'm ready to burst with joy! I've finished writing the PLUNGE manuscript! I've seen the first illustration and it's perfect! The cover art is being finalized and there is nothing I can do but wait. I hope that everyone can appreciate my passion for this project. The story is about a father and son that live in different worlds. It's fun, adventurous AND compelling. (And if you are not careful, educational.) Keep a watchful eye out for this imaginative tale that will knock your socks off! It may even inspire you to take the plunge! PLUNGE is coming SOON! |

Whoa! I've been getting a lot of nice feedback which is, well, nice. Lohsie's Woods is a "nice" book. Kids being kids, Halloween pranks and the like. You know... nice. There isn't much in it that can be deemed edgy. Lured Away, however, pulls no punches in its depiction of the dangers that await a naive runaway. I recently received feedback on Lured Away by a lady that is in a book club. She said that as they read the book one of the girls in the group began to cry and left the room! |

Yes! Just checked in with the library and LOHSIE'S WOODS is being checked out on a DAILY basis! It's just crammed in with all the other books on the shelf but people are finding it. Kids are telling kids... and the adults are reading it too! I'm glad to hear that the word is getting out. This next project, PLUNGE, is requiring me to do lots of research. There's some history involved and it's fun to see how people lived in 1803-1806. Oops! I don't want to spill the beans before I've finished the book. Let's just say I loved writing Lohsie's Woods AND I'm also into history. Sooo, the next book will - there I go again. Better sign off now before I tell the whole story! |

Welcome! I'm writing you all to let you know that I'm still writing like a madman to finish my third book. The story has young Arthur Carlson (from the book titled LOHSIE'S WOODS) going on a trip to the lake cottage in the dead of winter for one last visit. History buffs will get a kick out this story but more about that later... I'm looking forward to a visit to the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana on November 19th. The event is an author meet and greet and should be alot of fun. So if you're in the Hoosier state stop on by! |
